Dr. Steve Perry
Featured in CNN’s Black in America series, Dr. Perry is the most talked about innovative educator on the scene today! Perry is the founder and principal of what US News and World report has cited as one of the top schools in the country, Capital Preparatory Magnet School in Hartford, Connecticut. Capital Prep has sent 100% of its predominantly low-income minority first generation high school graduates to four-year colleges every year since its first class graduated in 2006. Dr. Perry is an Education Contributor for CNN and MSNBC, an Essence Magazine columnist, best-selling author, and host of the #1 docudrama for TVONE “Save My Son”. Dr. Perry blessed Choice Not Chance Documentary in many ways, but perhaps most by providing building blocks that will provide success in the area of education for our Sons.

Pastor James White
Pastor James White is Senior Pastor of Christ Our King Community Church and serves as the Executive Vice President of Organizational Relations for the YMCA both in Raleigh, NC. Pastor White has provided leadership and direction to numerous foundations, research institutes, boards and organizations in the areas of human resources, training, diversity, leadership development, community service, and welfare reform. He is a dynamic lecturer, keynote speaker and chapel speaker having orated for college ministries, professional and university football teams/leagues as well as a host of conferences. Pastor White is an award winning contributing author to various publications and we were blessed to have him address "faith" in the Choice Not Chance Documentary.
Glen Warren is the founder of Fathers Forever, a non-profit that serves as a map to help fathers chart a new course of fatherhood. With Glen at the helm, Fathers Forever facilitates and restores the relationship between the fathers and their children socially, educationally and economically. Their purpose is to decrease the number of children being raised without the support of their fathers and decrease the number of non-child support cases in the court system. Glen is a mental health crisis counselor specializing in depression, suicide and substance abuse. He has been involved in the empowerment of men for over 25 years. Glen won The Light 103.9 Lamplighters Award and has also been awarded the prestigious Dr. John Hope Franklin Humanitarian Award for his contributions. Glen blessed Choice Not Chance documentary by explaining the ways a program like Fathers Forever benefits fathers.
