“Adverse Childhood Experiences” Parenting on Purpose Workshop
There are many childhood experiences that can have lasting effects on a child’s mental health, physical body, behaviors and life potential. Your child’s social life, emotional well-being, cognitive impairment, behavior, or illness may possibly be directly tied to an adverse childhood experience. This interactive workshop will help you identify adverse childhood experiences and provide you with the tools and techniques needed to assist our children in working towards positive solutions! Parent on Purpose workshops are designed to provide a supported and fun environment for parents to engage and express themselves while gaining valuable resources. There will be separate activities for children over the age of 4. Food and refreshments provided. Facilitated by Dr. James Smith of Carolina Partners.
